Executive Managing Director — Carol found CYT in 2008, when her oldest of four children went to CYT summer camp and then auditioned for his first show. She, along with husband Stephen and all four children, continue to call CYT their family. Carol enjoyed mentoring children as backstage chair and camp coordinator as well as meeting parents as house chair prior to joining executive leadership. She is thankful for the opportunity to use her financial and management experience to serve the CYT community that has positively affected her family. Her prayer is that the families she serves will be better equipped ‘to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with God.’ Micah 6:8
Artistic Director — Elle attended Belmont University in Nashville, TN as a musical theater major with a dance minor. She spent several years working in the Country and Christian Music Industry in Nashville as a voice over artist and session singer. She also was a featured soloist with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra and a lead singer in the band, Jellesse. In 2006, she moved back to Chicago to be closer to family and began dancing and competing professionally with Fred Astaire Dance Studio. Soon after, she began teaching for CYT Chicago as Lake County's Project Dance Coach and quickly became fully immersed in the CYT community. After joining the office staff in 2013, Elle has enjoyed offering her expertise in several different facets of the company and is happy to be serving as Artistic Director overseeing productions and creative resources for classes and camps. In her free time, you can catch Elle coaching Project Dance and Project Voice in Lake County and choreographing shows in several different chapters. What a blessing it is to serve the Lord through song and dance.

Alana is thankful to have the opportunity to market a company which makes such an impact in children and families lives. In her free time, Alana enjoys choreographing and helping out at her church. Costume Manager — Regan has been involved with CYT since she was five years old. She has performed in seven shows across numerous chapters. When Regan is not working as one of CYT-Chicago's Costume Manager, she can be found serving on directing teams, teaching classes, taking classes, attending as many live theatrical performances as she possibly can, and watching things that make her cry. She has a passion for history, especially the aesthetic aspects, which lends itself well to her costuming position. Regan truly believes that God can use anything and anyone to show us His love. Including theatre. Hearing a beautifully composed song, watching the triumphs and struggles of a character, or even seeing the details of a costume piece reminds us that God has individually given us all talents and passions. We can choose whether we use those for His glory or not. CYT has a passion for making sure kids have a community to grow those talents and passions for His glory.
Warehouse Manager — Charles has been involved in CYT/Spotlight since 2010, and his family has since 2006. He’s worked backstage for most of those years while his sisters performed on stage. He started acting on stage as a sophomore and wishes he got on stage sooner. Charles was homeschooled from preschool all the way up till high school, when he went to Libertyville High School. Charles graduated in three years as a Junior and took a gap year to work and take a few classes at a community college. Outside of work Charles likes camping, building bonfires, going to the gym and helping out the family. Now Charles is excited to be a part of this new work environment and can’t wait to see what God has planned for the future.

Costume Assistant - CYT has been a significant part of Danielle’s life since her family saw its first show and her daughter said “I want to do that!” Danielle’s daughter started classes and camps as soon as she was old enough and performed in her first show with the Lake chapter in 2016. Since then, Danielle has worked on the costume committee for many productions and co-chaired costumes for a production, as well. While she has a background in nursing, Danielle has a passion for theater and jumped at the opportunity to assist the CYT costume department when a position became available in 2017. For Danielle, it is a joy to support the Christ-centered mission of CYT and to be involved in work that helps create such amazing productions across the CYT chapters. She feels it's a blessing to assist in caring for the costumes that kids get excited about and that help patrons delve into a new world for a few hours. When she’s not working, Danielle loves to listen to music, attend theater and cultural events, read, travel, and spend time with friends and family, including her husband, her two sons, and her daughter.
