Description

Learn the essentials of singing like a star! This class teaches you the entire spectrum of the voice from  diaphragmatic breathing and resonance to diction. This fast paced voice class will get you up to speed on your  vocal technique.

Mataya Mershon

I’m Mataya, or “Mattie.” I’ve been a part of CYT since I was 9. I have vocal directed, choreographed, & have taught classes since graduating. I have been in close to 40 musicals and plays. Outside of CYT, I teach private piano and voice lessons. I live with my husband, Zack, my two cats, and my new baby girl, Elizabeth, who can’t wait to do CYT someday. I love being part of the CYT family and watching my students shine.
