Description

“I’m comin' back to the heart of worship; and it's all about You, Jesus!”
In this class, we will dive deep into the true purpose and meaning of worship, and learn what true, heart-felt, boundless, Spirit-led, intentional worship looks like. We will be doing a lot of worshipping through song, but will also learn how to put on a posture of worship as we go throughout our daily activities.

Mataya Mershon

I’m Mataya, or “Mattie.” I’ve been a part of CYT since I was 9. I have vocal directed, choreographed, & have taught classes since graduating. I have been in close to 40 musicals and plays. Outside of CYT, I teach private piano and voice lessons. I live with my husband, Zack, my two cats, and my new baby girl, Elizabeth, who can’t wait to do CYT someday. I love being part of the CYT family and watching my students shine.
