CCT is proud to produce
Tuck Everlasting!
If you are looking for a theater experience that’s as meaningful as it is magical, audition for
Tuck Everlasting! This show is a heartfelt musical about a young girl, Winnie Foster, who discovers a family with a secret to eternal life. Faced with the choice between immortality and truly living, Winnie must decide what it really means to grow up. This show is a beautiful story that explores the themes of life, family, friendship, and the passage of time, offering performers the chance to be part of a deeply moving narrative and portraying characters with rich emotional depth.
The Tony-nominated score of
Tuck Everlasting is truly the heart of the show, with big, show-stopping numbers and emotional ballads. Set in the late 19th century, the musical’s time period adds another layer of charm and texture. The folk-inspired score reflects the simplicity and warmth of the era.
One of the most unique elements of
Tuck Everlasting is how it tells its story not just through dialogue and song, but through stunning, expressive movement. The choreography plays a central role in bringing the world to life! This show features a skilled dance ensemble that will create emotional moments of pure storytelling. Both male and female dancers will be part of this ensemble, with partner dancing as a key element of the choreography.
With roles spanning multiple ages and personalities,
Tuck Everlasting brings together a diverse cast, making it an especially rewarding experience. The musical features characters in their teens, young adulthood, middle aged, and mature in age. Auditioners from all walks of life are encouraged and needed!
What sets
Tuck Everlasting apart is its quiet beauty and the way it balances whimsy with profound questions about what it means to truly live. It’s the kind of show that stays with both performers and audiences long after the final curtain. Whether you’re drawn to the moving story, the elegant choreography, the breathtaking music, or the chance to be part of a thoughtful and passionate ensemble,
Tuck Everlasting offers a uniquely fulfilling experience for anyone stepping onto the stage this summer!
