Description

Combine music, theater, modern dance, drama, pantomime, and props to creative a living, dynamic story,  similar to a live music video. Students will be challenged to use their body to interpret the story in the music  and create exciting stage pictures. This class will explore facial expressions, spatial relationships, meaningful  gestures, interpretive dance, modern dance, artistic movements, classic mime, pantomime, and may at times  also use American Sign Language. This is an eclectic mix of theater, performed without boundaries, geared  toward presenting a story in a very powerful way.

Emma is a CYT alumni having performed in 7 CYT shows. In college she was involved in a musical theatre club, directing and choreographing Beauty and the Beast and West Side Story. She is passionate about God, theatre, dance, traveling, teaching, theology, and people!
