Description

Hamilton the musical.  We all know and love it, but it is one of the most lyrically dense musicals on broadway.  In this class students will focus on musical diction, the composition of spoken lines, along with diving  into the modern, Hip Hop style that is Hamilton. By the end of class, students will confidently take center stage and take their shot.

Susan Olson

Susan has been actively involved with all different aspects of theater for over 30 years. She has acted, directed, designed hair, makeup and costumes for over 100 shows. While attending college at Nyack College in New York, Susan directed and acted in the school’s improv club, Tokyo Rockstar. Susan’s first professionally taught drama at Dalat International School in Penang, Malaysia. “I loved working in the drama program at Dalat. It was there that I truly developed my love for teaching.” Since moving back to the states, Susan has been involved in several drama productions through Harvest Bible Chapel. Along with developing and overseeing their Musical Theater day camp for several years.
