Description

Let your creativity take flight through dancing, acting, and singing. Jump into the magical world of musical theater through the lens of "Wicked". Explore dance choreography, vocal technique, and how to portray a character. Become a triple threat through warm-ups, group activities, theater games, and performances. By the end of class, you’ll be ready to take center stage and shine as one of the show-stoppers in the showcase!

Mariana Beaird

Mariana Beaird is thrilled to be working with CYT again. Mariana has been a part of CYT, both as a Camp Coordinator and Camp Vocal Director, as well as a Kenosha County Alumna. Favorite CYT shows include "Seussical Jr." and "Fiddler on the Roof". Mariana graduated from Wheaton College, IL with a minor in Music (vocal emphasis), a Worship Arts Certificate, and Psychology major. Mariana enjoys the joy that theater brings and is excited to share her love for theater, children, and Jesus with her students.
