Please note:  This class is a two-session class and only available to those students that auditioned and were a part of the team in winter. No new students may register. Thank you!

The continuing Spring session of Improv Team practices the CORE techniques focusing on deep ensemble work needed to improv.  As a member of your chapter’s team, you will go beyond basic theory and game memorization. You will master grounded character development, create a supportive environment for team members, continue to hone your creativity, and improve your stage presence and connections with your team members.  You will have a ton of fun along the way leading to IMPROVAPALOOZA in the summer of 2026, competing for the coveted lamp trophy!

Kerry Cox

Kerry Cox has worked as a singer, actor, and director for CYT during their 3rd-12th years of classes and shows. She is so honored to be back! She recently retired after 24 years of improvising with the GreenRoom Improv Comedy ensemble, which stages high energy, family friendly shows in the suburbs. She also directed music for the Spring musical at Fox River Grove Middle School Musical for 2 years. She loves making new friends with fellow performers and music fans alike! She loves Jesus and sharing his light with others! She is a mom of five, as well.
