I have been part of the CYT Milwaukee family since 2019, when my son joined Willy Wonka Jr. and my wife volunteered me to run sound for the show. What started as a one-time favor quickly became a passion. Since then, I have worked on numerous productions and expanded into freelance sound engineering, all thanks to the skills and experience I gained through CYT. Before discovering theater, I spent eight years in the independent professional wrestling industry throughout the Midwest as a manager and announcer. While I never received formal acting training, those experiences gave me extensive opportunities to develop improvisation, stage presence, vocal inflection, facial expression, and physical storytelling. Whether addressing a live audience, building a character, or reacting in the moment, I learned how powerful communication can be both on and off the stage. I am grateful for the opportunities CYT has provided my family and me, and I love helping young performers grow in confidence while discovering their own unique voices. I'm excited to continue giving back to the CYT community that has become such an important part of our lives.
