Description

Are the characters we see on the page the same we bring to life on stage? In this class we will have fun reading between the lines to interpret our characters. Could Captain Hook be sympathetic, could Ariel be the one tricking Ursula? Without changing the script we will work on creating characters to tell different stories. Join us as we work on Character Development and getting to know and understand our scripts.

Jessica Denetz

Jessica has been with CYT since 2009. She started with working Backstage and then performed in two shows in Kenosha county before graduating. Since then she has taught many classes for CYT including, Tune Town, Musical Theater, Drama, and various styles of dance. She has also worked at many CYT summer camps and has been a part of directing teams in Kenosha, Rockford, and Milwaukee county. When not teaching with CYT Jessica is a nanny who (in her spare time) likes to read, write, and cuddle with her cats!
