Description

Tap dance is a great way to learn skills like body control, balance, and rhythm! Tap dance numbers are often featured in rousing ensemble numbers in musicals. Tap can be challenging both physically and mentally but is always tons of fun! In Tap, you’ll execute choreography featuring syncopated rhythmic combinations including time steps.

Kaitlin Taylor

Kaitlin Taylor participated in CYT Aurora and Dupage performing in 20 productions. Kaitlin also was a part of Project Dance Aurora for two seasons and participated in competitive dance for 16 years. She received UDA All-American Dancer in 2018 and had the opportunity to perform in Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. Kaitlin graduated from Purdue University in 2023 with a degree in Psychology. She is so excited to be teaching at CYT Chicago after spending 4 years teaching at CYT Indy.
