Description

Tap dance is a great way to learn skills like body control, balance, and rhythm! Tap dance numbers are often featured in rousing ensemble numbers in musicals. Tap can be challenging both physically and mentally, but is always tons of fun! In tap, you'll execute choreography featuring syncopated rhythmic combinations including time steps.

* Students are required to have tap shoes for the showcase performance. *

Hi I'm Mollie! I am a CYT alumn and am so excited to be back involved and sharing my love of dance with our young actors. Outside of musical theatre and dance I work in the sustainable fashion industry, working to reduce overconsumption of resources and appreciate what already exists in the world. Rock climbing, filmmaking, drawing, painting, and protecting our natural environment are just a few of my other passions!
