Class Description

Discover your own voice capabilities, range, and learn how to “bridge the gap” between the upper and lower range of the voice (commonly called the “head voice” and “chest voice”). Or, come learn to harmonize together! Learn blending, listening skills, lead vocals and creating basic chords within a duet, a trio or a quartet!

Nicole Grueneberg

I have been involved in the arts for as long as I can remember...from singing to dancing, playing instruments, choreographing, teaching and even conducting orchestras. I have both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Music Education, with a focus on instrumental music. My first experience with CYT was as a parent in 2013 when my oldest daughter started taking CYT (then Spotlight) classes and then later was cast in her first show that year. In 2016, my daughter and I were cast in a local theater's production of "The Music Man," and loved having the experience of working together in theater. So, after 7 CYT shows as a parent volunteer, I had the privilege of serving as an intern/assistant choreographer for CYT Aurora's production of Shrek, and am looking forward to more opportunities to work with CYT in both classes and shows in the future.
