Class Description

Students will learn to create a believable and imaginative character that will be memorable on stage. Seussification of Romeo and Juliet is a whimsical reinvention of Shakespeare's tragic love story, complete with rhymed couplets, creative wordplay, and fantastical machines -- similar to something Dr. Seuss might have come up with if he ever had his way with the script. Students will work on developing a character’s back story, and be challenged to become the character from head to toe in how they walk, talk, and move. Improve facial expressions, character voices, and physical expression.
