Psalm 150 says, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!” That is exactly what we will do in this two-session audition class. Building on the foundation of dance as worship to the Giver of the gift, dancers will focus on using traditional and classical dance techniques and styles to help create a strong foundation for solid dance skills. Each team will perform one showcase piece per session in the style of the coaches choosing. Styles may include modern, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, or African. The showcase pieces will incorporate skills learned during the session and challenge dancers in the area of expression and performance.

Dancers will audition before the winter session and those chosen to be on the team need to commit to both winter and spring sessions.

Those on 150: DANCE will not be allowed to drop from the team to audition for Improv in the spring. There will be an all-area one-day 150:dance celebration in June to come together and celebrate the joy of dance!

Auditions will be held at WellSpring Alliance Church in Wheaton on November 22, 2022, from 7:00pm-9:00pm. Please contact your Chapter Coordinator for more info about the audition date and time.
