Description

Audition for a chance to be on the Improv Team! Each CYT Chicago Chapter will bring a team of Improvisers to an event this summer. Previous improv experience or class is recommended. Some out of class participation may be required. Auditions will be held at Gurnee Community Church on February 27, 2023, from5:00pm-6:30pm. 

Only 4–6 students will be accepted onto the team. Each auditioning student will be sent an email asking for their second choice for classes. This needs to be completed before the audition date.

Rachael West

Hi! My name is Rachael West and I am so EXCITED to join the CYT family! I attended Indiana University for a theater degree and was apart of many shows there. I then went on to audition for The Second City in Chicago, where I did all of the improv programs and classes like writing, sketch shows and more! I then auditioned to be apart of the Conservatory, where we put on several shows at the Second City. Improv Comedy is my favorite, but scripted theater is a close second!! When I saw a show from CYT, last semester and heard their values...I knew I had to be involved! Jesus and Theater...seriously?!? Sign me up :) I look forward to this new chapter!
