Class Description

One of the most important skills needed in musical theater is teamwork! In this class, challenge yourself with advanced duet and harmony singing. Learn all the skills it takes to sing well within a small group in various genres of music.  Students will have the opportunity to split off in small groups and/or duos to pick out and learn different pieces to work on and perform.  They will learn when to take the spotlight and when to complement their fellow performer. Come live out your duet, trio, and quartet dreams!

Hannah Robinson

Hannah is a CYT-Kenosha alumni. She participated in six shows before graduating early and moving off to college. She had the opportunity to perform roles such as the White Witch in "Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" and Frog in "A Year with Frog and Toad". She grew up singing on worship teams and participating in Christmas performances at her church. After spending two years at a leadership college in Milwaukee and an eight month study abroad/missions trip opportunity in India, she was able to further pursue her passion for music and performing arts at MATC. She took many music performance and voice classes in her year attending there. She now participates in local community theater to better tone her art through experience and assistance from directors and peers. She is voice/piano focused and is very excited to work with young people as they develop and grow the same passions for Musical Theater.
