Description

Villains, Heroes and Damsels (or at least someone) in distress with dangerous situations that, well, might not be as dangerous as the characters think! In this class, students will explore the melodrama, what it is, and why it is important. In fun and creative ways, we will work together to create and deliver several short melodramatic scenes for the showcase. Bring your writing, acting, musical and creative skills with you as we get melodramatic!

I have a Mass Communications degree with an emphasis in Radio and Television and a minor in Theater Performance from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Through the years I have enjoyed performing as a character actor in many, high school, college and community theater productions. For the past eighteen years I have been affiliated with "Those Were the Days" radio players of Lake County. I am also a member of Toastmasters and recently earned my Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) designation.
