Description

A student finds out they have to write a book report on one of the Grimm Brothers fairy tales. Bored with the options they decide that they are going to write about which fairy tale character has it worse. Beloved characters come to life (Little Red Riding Hood, Frog Prince, Hansel and Gretel, etc.) to try and convince the student that their story is the worst and earn the title of Most Tragic Story. Learn how to bring a character from script to stage by understanding how to create a believable character through movement, tone and facial expressions. Students will also learn stage terminology and theater basics!

Hi, I'm Kelsey! I am a recent CYT graduate and excited to be back and teaching students with a company that has been such a blessing in my own life. Over the past 10 years, I participated in 25 productions with CYT, been a part of the project voice team in Kane chapter for one year and project dance in Aurora for four years. I have a passion for students and Christ and sharing of his love and using theater as a way to glorify Him and am excited to be able to continue to share that love through teaching.
