Description

Tap dance is a great way to learn skills like body control, balance, and rhythm! Tap dance numbers are often featured in rousing ensemble numbers in musicals. Tap can be challenging both physically and mentally but is always tons of fun! In Tap, you’ll execute choreography featuring syncopated rhythmic combinations including time steps. 

* Students are required to have tap shoes for the showcase performance. *

While I started out with CYT as a parent, I am now jumping full swing into teaching dance to these wonderful kids! I have 20 years of experience in dance and figure skating, and was actively involved in theater for 6 years. I have taught dance, skating and drama for several years and now I am thrilled to continue teaching with CYT. I have 6 kids actively involved with CYT and I am very grateful that God has granted me a gifting to be able to share with my family and others in this amazing organization.
