Description

Hip hop is a technique that is unique all on its own, using dance forms such as breakdancing, pop-locking- and classic jazz forms to create lively dances and a great deal of fun! By the end of class, students will demonstrate the foundational elements of hip-hop dance in a piece to be performed in the showcase.

Laurel Bacote is a dance teacher and choreographer who graduated from CYT DuPage in Spring 2018 after performing in 10 shows and attending many camps. She is thrilled to be able to give back to this wonderful community and share her passion for the arts with the next generation.
