Class Description

Ballet challenges kids to be respectful, diligent and poised, while Jazz dance often utilizes modern music and features syncopated movements, energetic choreography, and complex patterns. Contemporary dance borrows heavily from both ballet and modern dance and has seen a sharp rise in popularity over the last decade and has emerged as a favorite among many American dancers. In this class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of ballet technique, barre exercises and across the floor work for both styles.
