Class Description

Whether you are looking to gain a foundation in dance or to enhance and deepen your skills, this is a great class for all dance levels. You’ll learn fundamental dance elements that are typically used in Broadway style and Swing style choreography. These elements include foundations in jazz and ballet. Students will learn choreography for a showcase piece that will be a mash-up of Broadway and Swing style dancing that also incorporates partner dancing. The goal of this class is to have students leave feeling comfortable with learning choreography quickly and efficiently and also be able to execute the dances with style and grace. There will also be a focus for students to diversify their repertoire for auditions, callbacks, and shows.

Ella is so grateful for CYT’s mission and is passionate about continuing to reflect Christ through the art we create together.
